Escrow department doesn't know a disabled veteran tax deduction is and miscalculated our payments. Be extra careful when dealing with them because they're not proactive, always reactive and not in favor of their clients.

Log in interface is a nightmare if you have more than 1 account with them. I have a checking account and HLOC account. HLOS payment comes out of the checking account. Every time I go to put money in the account to cover my payment, I get locked out. Getting a live person who understands the problem is incredibly time consuming. Once I log in and schedule a wire transfer, they hold the funds for 6 days. I know because I was just able to log in and scheduled a wire transfer from a linked account and it says the funds will be available 3/6/24. My auto pay will post on the 1st. I log in and it shows the posted payment. But several days later (almost 2 weeks) I will get a letter in the mail notifying me that the payment did not go through. So I pay an overdraft fee on the checking account and a late fee to the HLOC and both are Flagstar. How is this legal? This is the 3rd month in a row that this has been happening. They always apologize and promise the problem has been fixed. And then I go through the ordeal again the following month.
